Football

Sonning Football Club - Started in 1895, the club currently runs runs two adult teams, with the first team playing at home on a newly recreated excellent full size pitch on KGF. New adult male members are always welcome.

AFC Charvil - This successful junior football club runs six mixed teams aged from under 7 to under 11. All home matches are played on the three junior sized pitches at KGF. New members (girls and boys) aged 6 -11 are welcome.

Cricket

Sonning Cricket Club - This hugely succesful club runs Saturday and Sunday adult male fixtures at all levels at KGF. The cricket square has recently been enlarged . There are also outside nets on site and the club runs a private bar from the Sports pavilion during weekend matches.

Charvil Junior Cricket. Charvil junior cricket club played mixed junior cricket on Sunday mornings at KGF during 2008. Boys and girls of all abilities aged under 11 are welcome. Contact details are not currently available.

Tennis

Sonning Lawn Tennis Club - There are three hard courts at KGF, which are currently undergoing a fantastic £26,500 refurbishment (see photo). An appeal has been launched for additional funding to replace the current delapidated club hut with a bright new pavilion, which will offer better facilities. Membership is offered to all age groups, and there is a special rate for family membership. Children joining get six free coaching lessons.
