Welcome to the web site of Sonning Parish Council, the modern means of communication between the Council and the residents of Sonning. For those without access to the Internet, the Council also distributes a more traditional Newsletter to households in the Parish twice yearly.

The civil parish of Sonning lies within the Borough of Wokingham. Responsibilities are split between the two councils, with the Parish Council looking after local interests. The chairman of the Parish Council is Steve Chapman, who is also Borough Councillor for Sonning.

A separate section is devoted to information about the village, including an interactive Google™ map, links to external sources of information about Sonning and the surrounding area and community events that the Council arrange or support.
