For those without access to the Internet, the Council also distributes a more traditional Newsletter to households in the Parish twice yearly. The civil parish of Sonning lies within the Borough of Wokingham. Responsibilities are split between the two councils, with the Parish Council looking after local interests. The chairman of the Parish Council is Mark Green. Mike Haines is the Borough Councillor for Sonning and Warren. Use the menu on the left to learn how the Parish Council serves the community. A separate section is devoted to information about the village, including an interactive Google™ map, links to external sources of information about Sonning and the surrounding area and community events that the Council arrange or support.
