Prior to my retirement in 1986 I worked in the Display and Advertising industry from 1961 and ran my own business from 1970. After moving to Sonning in 2002 I was asked by Carol Rose to chair the planning committee of the newly formed Sonning and Sonning Eye Society, which I did before handing over to become a Parish Councillor after being approached by Steve Chapman.

I chair our Planning Committee and the Council. Although our family comes first, among my varied interests and hobbies are the history of and following motor racing, aviation history, banjo, Robert Service and a few more, including Sonning and its Parish Council.
